Hora de almoço / Lunch time

São 15h19. Pergunto ao meu irmão:
- Não ias fazer um lanche especial?

Responde-me ele:
- Sim, mas é só depois de almoço.

Insurjo-me:
- Ainda não almoçaram? É tudo louco, nesta casa?
Passados uns segundos de reflexão acrescento:
- Bem, eu também não, mas é só porque eu não vou almoçar...




It's 15h19. I ask my brother:
- Weren't you going to make something special for tea time?

He answers:
- Yes, but only after we have luch.

I am surprised:
- Haven't you had lunch yet? Is everyone nuts in this house?
Several moments of reflection later, I say.
- Well, me neither. But that's only because I won't have lunch at all...
