Richmond

We spent last weekend in Richmond, a suburban town in southwest London, near the river. Once more, it is a too small village - we can walk around it easily - for me to want to live there, but I was amazed with the two big parks, the sidewalk along the river and the wide range of stores, coffe shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
It is a very beautifull town by day and by night, which was enhanced by a summery weather.
Although we could have a full english or a continental breakfast in the hotel we stayed at, the Richmond Inn, we ended up having it on a boat in the Thames.
A town where I can sit on a bench facing the river or walk along it gets, definitely, a special place in my heart.
