Londres gastronómico (2) / Gastronomic London (2)

 Hampstead é uma zona não muito longe da minha casa atual, onde não me importaria nada de viver. Aliás, acho que de todas por onde já passei com essa perspetiva em mente, era mesmo aquela que me encheria as medidas. É movimentada, tem bares, cafés e lojas, tem bons acessos e um parque (Hampstead Heath) quase ao virar da esquina.

Ontem decidimos ser irreverentes e comer a sobremesa primeiro. Passámos pela Creperie de Hampstead, uma roulotte pequena, no meio do passeio, entre vários cafés, com uma oferta de crepes bastante generosa. Partilhámos um de avelãs e chocolate branco que, não tendo sido o melhor crepe que já comi na vida (não há nada que supere o Au p'tit grec, em Paris), soube muito bem, mesmo comido num banco virado para a rua.

O jantar foi logo ali ao lado, no Coffee Cup, um café/restaurante italiano com um ambiente peculiar, um atendimento rápido, um serviço ótimo e a um preço incrivelmente baixo. Sou fã de massas, adoro fazê-las e comê-las, mas não em qualquer lugar. Este ficou-me registado como um sítio a repetir, várias vezes, se possível.

Hampstead is not very far from my current house, and where I wouldn't mind at all to live in. In fact, of all parts of the city I walked by and thought about under that perspective, that is the one I would choose. It is busy, full of pubs, cafés and stores, it has good transportation facilities and the Hampstead Heath park just around the corner.

Yesterday, we decided to be rebells and eat dessert before dinner. We went to the Creperie de Hampstead, a small trailer in the middle of the sidewalk, among several cafés, with a wide variety of crepes. We shared one with hazelnut and white chocolate which, despite not being the best one ever (nothing can compete Au p'tit grec in Paris), was delicious.

We had dinner in front of it, in Coffe Cup, an italian café/restaurant with a particular atmosphere, a fast and efficient attendance, and great food at an incredibly low price. I am a huge fan os pasta, I love making them and eating them, but not anywhere. This place will, for sure, be revisited, many times, if possible.
