Porto - Londres / Porto - London

E as perspetivas fazem-me, agora, sorrir.

Leaving is good, coming back home is even better. It would make perfectly sense if my heart wasn't divided in two: one part of it is from Porto, the other one is from London. This last one was the one I left behind, the one I saw standing there, with a knot in my throat due to non hidden tears while I looked through the window of the bus that took me away, to the airport. But coming back like this is a little less hard when you have a sister waiting for you with a cosy dinner and words of comfort. It doesn't make it all ok, but it helps.
Today was the first day of a new phase, which has, in fact, begun a few months ago. In the morning, it seemed like it was going to be an awful day: when I woke up, the hot water cylinder hadn't followed my orders to heat the water and I still had my hair to wash, which made me do a lot of exercise in order to be presentable for the day; for a big finale, walking through the streets of London like I wasn't unbeatable left me with a pain on my foot, which chose to fail when I was coming down the stairs on my workplace, in front of a group of construction workers, who saw me falling on the floor big time.
Still, I came home feeling happy, because to of my biggest fears had no reason to be. And I can now start to see a bright future ahead.
